Google

This week, we’re covering some of Google’s best ads! They’ve gotten quite creative here.

Let’s have a look:

Meta Ads

Ad details

This is a collaboration with the British Football team, Liverpool FC. It’s basically a celebration video (who doesn’t like to watch that).

Lots of energy. and then one of the players takes the phone and records the celebration from their POV.

This entire video has a cute little “shot on Pixel” watermark at the top right.

Great ad!

Newsletter Ads

Ad details

In this newsletter ad, Google is promoting their game — “Searched Playground”.

Celebrating 25 years of Google Search.

Ad copywriting

The interesting thing here…

In newsletter ads, you’re not able to play videos natively in email. So in order to drive clicks, Google has added a banner with the “play” button. Smart tactic.

Also, I love the hyperlinked section:

see the moments that have changed the world and inspired the next generation to come.

The hyperlink should come at the point where they’re ready to take action.

For example, after reading this newsletter ad, you might be interested in where you can get yours!

They’re also pushing their AI cloud solutions as you can see here:

Also found it interesting how they’re testing different highlighting colours 👇
